Don't stop for breath by Carina Roots

...my days are bright and airy now I watch the silky smooth sea sweep the shore sharp yet subtle the waves smash against the rocks this salted bath for the world and creatures to share and enjoy and pollute my dirty feet it cleans and cleanses my soul it sets me free my painted toenails and curly hair and smokey tan the smoke oh the smoke that flows through the warm air to create a summers evening a dessert a trifle its soft fluffy layers of sweetness coral cream and cardinal a sunset so distant and daring far far away I’m going back now home like the wandering wishful waiting tide

I'll always return.
